CIDA does not maintain a significant development assistance program in the Solomon Islands.

The Solomon Islands may benefit from various CIDA programs, such as:

• Multilateral and global programs including:
  • the International Humanitarian Assistance Program
  • 
    
• Partnerships with Canadians programs that support the efforts of selected Canadian organizations working in developing countries
  
  
• the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives managed by the High Commission of Canada to Australia
