Training in Canada for Non-Canadians

This form is strictly for the use of CIDA's executing agencies and cannot be used by an individual as a request for training in Canada.

This form indicates the trainee's liabilities as well as the details of his training in Canada . Any foreign national, coming to Canada at CIDA's expense, should sign a Training Agreement.

A trainee is an award holder whose duration of stay in Canada is normally less than 12 months, and who undergoes specialized and/or technical training, not leading to a diploma. The term trainee includes all foreign citizens, regardless of their level of responsibility in their home country, who come to Canada at CIDA's expense to undergo training or development and/or to attend official meetings.
