International Development Week

What is International Development Week?

International Development Week (IDW) is an opportunity to explore how Canada and Canadians are making a difference around the world!

For 24 years, IDW has taken place during the first full week of February. In 2014, it was held on February 2–8 with the theme of “We are Making a Difference.” Throughout the week, Canadians were encouraged to learn more about international development, become engaged, and share their experiences with friends, family, colleagues, and their communities.

What can you do during IDW?

In 2015, IDW will be held on February 1–7. Here are some ideas for how you can participate.
